An Oregon native, Steve Reese joined the Timbers organization in 2012. In addition to his current role as T2’s goalkeeper coach, Reese has held roles with the Timbers Academy and with Portland Thorns FC. Before his time with the club, Reese served as an assistant coach with Oregon State (2006-2007) and Concordia University (2008). He also served as a goalkeeper coach, assistant coach and head coach for Oregon’s Olympic Development Program (2005-2012). Notably, Reese played for the Timbers during the club’s time in the second division from 2007-2008.
