The Storyline
Timbers2 (4-6-6, 20pts) had a four-game, unbeaten streak at home come to an end last time out - it was their first home loss since April 21. Timbers forward Tega Ikoba has returned from his loan with USL Championship side Indy Eleven and featured for T2 against Whitecaps FC 2 last weekend.
Sunday marks the second meeting of the regular season against Real Monarchs (4-10-1, 14pts). The two sides met in Timbers2's season opener on March 15 in Utah; the two sides finished regulation in a scoreless draw.
