2016 Stand Together Week Day 3 | Bless Field, soccer, beach clean up and new houses all feature in latest round up

Volunteers and players fanned out en masse on Day 3 of Stand Together Week 2016.

Starting things off, Timbers maestro Diego Valeri worked with volunteers from Simple helping clean books at The Children's Book Bank. Simple volunteers also helped out with T2's Rennico Clarke and Kendall McIntosh to build houses with Habitat for Humanity - Willamette West.

Up at Kelley Point Park, Timbers forward Jack McInerney along with T2's Brent Richards and Dylan Damraoui helped with volunteers from Alaska Airlines, Simple, Enterprise Rent-a-Car and Coca-Cola to clean up the beach on behalf of Willamette Riverkeeper.

Bless Field, one of the club's signature projects with Operation Pitch Invasion, Active Children Portland and Boys & Girls Club, held a celebration and field clean up with Timber Joey, volunteers from adidas, team president of business Mike Golub and Timbers Jack Jewsbury, Jake Gleeson and Jack Barmby plus T2's Steve Palacios.

Closing out the day was a slew of soccer with volunteers from Providence Health & Services joining Thorns FC head coach Mark Parsons plus players Allie Longand Emily Sonnett who all helped lead kids in scrimmages and games at McCoy Park.
