PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Timbers fans attending Sunday’s match against the Houston Dynamo now will have the opportunity for discounted travel, courtesy of Alaska Airlines.
The first 12,000 fans in attendance at Sunday’s match will receive a voucher from Alaska Airlines to save up to 50 percent on nonstop flights to select destinations from Portland International Airport, including Austin, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Omaha, Sacramento, St. Louis, San Francisco and Salt Lake City. The vouchers are good for travel between Sept. 15-Nov. 15, and fans will have until 11:59 p.m. (Pacific) on Monday, June 27, to book their travel.
The Alaska Airlines vouchers offer 50 percent savings on nonstop flights booked for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays to any of the nine destinations between Sept. 15-Nov. 15. A savings of 25 percent will be offered for flights booked for travel on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays to those same destinations. Fans also have the option to save 10 percent on nonstop flights to any Alaska Airlines destination, any day of the week.
