PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers will play host to Sporting Kansas City in the Western Conference Knockout Round of the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs on Thursday, Oct. 29, at Providence Park; kickoff is set for 7 p.m. (Pacific). The game will be nationally televised on UniMás and locally on ROOT SPORTS.
Individual tickets for Thursday’s playoff match go on sale to the general public Monday, Oct. 26, at 10 a.m., and will be available for purchase online, by phone at (888) 736-6849, or at the Providence Park box office. A limited-window, online presale will take place Sunday night for Timbers season ticket holders and members of the club’s Season Ticket Waiting List. The special presale ends at 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26.
The Timbers (15-11-8, 53pts) clinched a playoff berth as the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference with a 4-1 victory over the Colorado Rapids at Providence Park Sunday evening.
The winner of Thursday’s single-elimination, Knockout Round game at Providence Park will advance to the Western Conference Semifinals, playing host to the first match of the two-game, aggregate-goal series on Sunday, Nov. 1.
