Timbers have the 15th selection in the First, Second and Third Rounds
The 2026 MLS SuperDraft is set for Thursday, Dec. 18, beginning at 11am PT. The draft will have three rounds, with all selections being announced on @MLS' X account. Fans are also encouraged to follow @TimbersFC on X for Portland Timbers selections.
The Timbers currently hold three picks in this year's edition: the 15th selection in the First Round (No. 15 overall), Second Round (No. 45 overall) and Third Round (No. 75 overall).

Generation adidas is a joint program between MLS and adidas dedicated to developing exceptional talent in a professional environment.
Each year, a handful of top collegiate underclassmen and youth national team players are signed by MLS, with the majority of such players entering MLS through the MLS SuperDraft. Until the end of the guaranteed term of his contract up to three years, Generation adidas players are on a club's Supplemental Roster.

The SuperDraft has produced players who have been key contributors to the Timbers of late.Â
- Defender Ian Smith (First Round, No. 14 overall in 2025): Made 20 appearances last season (11 starts) with one goal and one assist.
- Forward Gage Guerra (Third Round, No. 69 overall in 2024): Scored 11 goals and had four assists with T2 in 2025, signed to a first-team contract, scored the extra-time, match-tying goal against San Diego FC in Game 2 of the Audi 2025 MLS Cup Playoffs Best-of-3 Series.
- Defender Zac McGraw (Third Round, No. 68 overall in 2020): Has 78 regular-season appearances (53 starts) across six seasons with the Green & Gold.
