With a Decision Day victory at Austin FC, the Portland Timbers have clinched their place in the Audi 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs as the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference. It's a third-straight playoff appearance for Portland.
Portland will face No. 2 seed FC Dallas in the Round One Best-of-3 Series later this month. Match dates, kickoff times and broadcast details will be announced at a later time.Â
Tickets for Game 2 at Providence Park will go on sale Monday, Nov. 9, at 2pm PT.

Key details to know about the Round One Best-of-3 Series, which is slated to start Nov. 20.
- Every Round One match will have a winner; no ties, no aggregate score.
- The matches will be hosted in a home-away-home format:
- Match 1: higher seed hosts
- Match 2: lower seed hosts
- Match 3: higher seed hosts (if necessary)
- If a match is tied at the end of regulation, no extra time will be played. Teams will participate in kicks from the penalty spot to determine the winner.
- The first team to win two matches in their series will advance to the Conference Semifinals.
