The Storyline
Entering Saturday’s match, the Timbers sit in 6th place in the Western Conference with 42 points (11-9-9 record), while the Houston Dynamo FC are 12th with 33 points (8-3-2, 2pts).
The Timbers and Dynamo will face off for the 28th time in MLS regular season history, with Portland leading the series 11-8-8 overall. On the road, the Timbers are 1-2-2 versus the Dynamo. The match will mark the two sides’ final matchup in the 2025 campaign.
Portland and Houston faced off ealier in the season on March 30 at Providence Park. The Timbers defeated the Dynamo 3-1 with a goal from Felipe Mora and an Antony brace.
