Timbers play their final 2026 preseason match Saturday against the Chicago Fire
Felipe Mora scored a brace – including a stoppage-time winner – as the Portland Timbers exploded for four second-half goals to defeat the Chicago Fire in their final 2026 Coachella Valley Invitational match at the Empire Polo Club.
The match closed out Portland's preseason, presented by Old Trapper Beef Jerky, and they next play on Feb. 21 against the Columbus Crew to open the MLS regular season.
